Susan's garden

Today I was using the electric tiller to mix the dirt and loosen it so Susan could dig out roots, so they won't be there all the time and be a big pain. The dirt was so soft because of the rain. We had a lot of it yesterday, almost 3 inches. Yikes!

Another thing I did was sorting my books and tapes. Some tapes I will keep and some I don't want. I will try to sell them to earn me some money. I am trying to save up my money to get me a NASCAR jacket or something.

Next week Monday my new game might come in the mail. It is called Trainz Driver. Next week Tuesday we are going to be gone to go see my sister and a concert, if I feel like it. And also to get my kitten. I might name it after Sandy the Squirrel from Spongebob Squarepants. I always watch it all the time! Because Spongebob is so funny!

Rain and hail!

First it was just sprinkling a little bit. Then it started to rain really hard! We were going to work in our garden but we are stuck inside.

It started to hail! And I heard the tornado siren! We were under a tornado warning and I was a little nervous about my friend Greg. Then the hail stopped. My mom did a report for weather spotters about the hail.

It has stopped hailing but I can hear thunder outside.

Weather

We didn't get any rain AGAIN and I have been complaining, "Where's our rain and hail and all that stuff? How come we're not getting tornadoes and all that stuff?" It's not fair! All those other states get some rain, instead of us, like Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. And by the way, Ohio, because that's in Tornado Alley.

What I want to do is make a movie for the Weather Channel. Then they could show it on TV. They might choose my movie and then I might get a Weather Channel jacket.

I might get a Weather Channel t-shirt on eBay. I just love the Weather Channel a lot. I watch Weather Channel every day.

Prison trip

Yesterday we got on Bus 18 to take us on our prison trip. The bus driver had to go to her house and change her shoes because they wouldn't let her in prison with sandals. That's their rules.

We started heading towards the rain in the west. Then it started to hail! It was making a lot of noise! It made me feel crazy and wild!

It was still raining when we got to Las Animas. Then we got off Highway 50 and turned, heading towards the prison. The bus driver was trying to figure out where to park.

Inside you have to take your shoes off to walk through the metal detector. Then you can put your shoes back on.

We had to wait for Mrs. O to sign papers and then we went into the room where they talk to you about prison stuff. A guy named Mike (like me! That is weird!) talked first. They took us to the cells where they stay and then after that we went outside a little bit to see their exercise yard. Then we went back in.

The prisoners told us about their life stories so us kids won't have to go to prison. Then we had lunch. After lunch we saw a video where a boy was drinking and driving. It had a sad part in it when he crashed. His girlfriend was bleeding everywhere and they called 911 and the ambulance and the fire truck and the police car but she died. Susan was crying.

Afterwards we headed back to good old Lamar, Colorado.

Back at school they called me out of class for a meeting. It was about high school stuff. I picked some classes I wanted to take, like Art and Wood and Word Processing. That's tasty! I will also have Math and PE. I like PE a lot. My best friend Greg is going to high school too next year, with me. We are being best buds.

I am a little nervous about high school next year. Sometimes I am worried about the bigger kids because sometimes what they do is tease and be a bully. I don't like it, not one little bit.

Susan and I got our hair cut today. Greg might be freaked out by my hair tomorrow!

Tornado Project

This is a picture of my tornado project. It tells about how we went to Weather Spotter training and all about tornadoes. Like the scale with EF1, EF2, EF3, EF4 and EF5, which is very evil.

Here I am making a tornado in the bottle to show the judges.

Project Fair is so much fun! I brought home a trophy! AND you get to play games at the Project Fair. Greg was there with me at the Project Fair because our whole class went. We had lunch there too. They had pizza!

Yesterday at school I got frightened because we had a bomb threat! I don't know why people do something stupid like that. They think it's a joke but it's not! We were in the middle of doing art class and suddenly they had to tell us to walk towards the school field. I was scared. I saw the police cars directing traffic away to make them go around. Then Susan came to pick me up from school.

Before we went home, we went to go get some sand from the side of the road. It's for our rock garden. We had a bin and filled it halfway up. It was SO HEAVY we almost couldn't get it! I put it in the garden later on. I want to work on it some more today, but it's really windy, because we are supposed to get thunderstorms.

I am so excited because we got a BIG TV controller yesterday. The keys glow in the dark! It lets me play the VCR and change channels and it's VERY big so you can't lose it! I will show you a picture of me and the big controller after Susan gets a chance to take a picture of it.

Project fair!

Today I brought home volcanoes! It's made of paper. First you need bottles, and paper that you rip up and make into a ball. Next thing you need to do it get some flour and water and put your finger in it and mix it. It feels weird!

We made it on cardboard in science class. My friends and I made two volcanoes and a lake (that was my idea) and a fence. The bottles are inside the volcanoes. I didn't get a chance to see it erupt because I was gone on Tuesday. I went to Denver with my Grandma GG because she is visiting us.

We left early Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock. We picked my cousin Jeff up in Denver and then we went to Brush, after we finally found Highway 76. Then we visited my sister Damaris and her husband Nigel and their kids. I was playing with Spira the dragon and Zach was helping me to beat that Nasty Norf the bad guy. Then we went home the next day.

On Thursday is our Project Fair. I am doing a report on tornadoes because I chose Science this year. Every year I do something different. I wrote a report about tornadoes of things I learned from Weather Spotter training. We put it on poster board with pictures of tornadoes and stuff. I am trying to make a tornado in a bottle too.

I have to go to bed now.

SNOW!

It started out at midnight. The snow started coming down. When I got up, there was snow everywhere, including on our vehicles. We were listening to the radio to make sure if school was open or closed. Someone fooled them! They called the radio station and said there was no school!

But then someone REALLY from the school called. Yes, there WAS school. And I said, "TARTAR SAUCE!"

So I went to school like I always do. It was still snowing the whole morning. Because of all the snow they released the students early at noon. They wanted the students to be home before it got really worse. We had Social Studies for only like five minutes.

We made pizza in second hour, me and my friend Greg. He's a really nice boy. He is new.

I have been so busy buzzing around like a bee or a wasp. (That's just a joke.) I will try to write more often if I can. You can try to say something back to me. Thank you.

Pictures I took today!

I love doing pictures for fun. We went driving around today to take some. We were exploring like cats, because we are always curious.

I just put this one in day_on_earth. I like windmills because they make electricity to make more power.

We were at the construction site. They grabbed the wrong steel one by mistake.

Here's a close up of it. They were turning the steel thing, but it wasn't the right piece and they put it back down again.

You don't see one of these every day! All this week, only on The Weather Channel!" After they said that, it was locals on the 8. I don't know why they said that, only to drive you nuts. So every night this week I am watching Tornado Week!

This week

When we were going to school Wednesday, we heard the tire making a weird bumping noise on the ice. Mom got out at school and said, "Oh, no! That tire's been broken!" The rim was sticking out a lot!

On Friday we went out to eat at the restaurant nearby the railroad tracks. You know me, I love those trains and you never know, a train might come! Like a mixed freight or passengers or something like that. From inside, we saw the arm crossing gate was broken! I hope it didn't hit anyone. We saw a policeman looking at it. For my dinner I ate dumplings. I just love them, it's my favorite Chinese food.

Also on Friday I got my new video camera. It does videos AND pictures AND sounds. It was my early birthday present. I am still practicing with it. I might take some good BNSF pictures or the Amtrak train.

Saturday my nose kept on bugging me. It's just a runny nose, but yesterday I was saying that I wasn't feeling that good.

Today I was playing with my Sim City 4 like I always do sometimes. I found out if you drive your mixed freight that says Santa Fe to the arrow, you get a Space Port! What you have to do is built cities, add in schools, jobs, and factories and hospitals and a fire station and police station.

Tomorrow morning at 7:00 playing games starts! It's a holiday!

Tuesday and Wednesday

On Tuesday seventh hour I was mad at Jose for making a hole in my jacket. He is so much a pain in the butt. Mrs Wz had to send him to the office for shoving me with his stupid foot. But I am still mad today.

Today, Wednesday, was a little bit of good. I had pizza for lunch with a salad and milk. I was sitting with Lance, because he is really nice sometimes. I don't know about Austin. Sometimes he is a little cuss-y, and says those little cuss words out of his mouth. Sometimes I don't like that very much. Sometimes they always argue with each other. After I was done with lunch I went to the library to be with Caro, like I always do.

Wednesday is when I get out at 2. Caro had meetings so I was looking at roller coasters online. I was at CedarPoint.com to try to check their opening day for that new ride. But they didn't show it yet.

Every night I always take that same old boring shower. So I have to go now.

Conrail to school!

First thing this morning I did what I always do, get ready for school and all that stuff. Then I put on my Conrail jacket to wear to school. I was nice all weekend so Mom let me wear it to school. My friends were jealous! My best friend Victoria really liked it. She was freaked out and jealous. I wore it all day and it kept me warm. I hope I get a chance to wear it all the time because it's my favorite. Because it's a train jacket.

Today I lost my tag thing that we wear to let us in the building. Someone swiped it! I was very very very mad. Tartar sauce! (That's what I always say when I'm mad.) It does have my name on there so maybe I will get it back. I hope so.

Sunday

I love watching television. I watch TV sometimes, but sometimes they have those crazy stupid grown-up shows I don't like. So sometimes I watch videos and DVDs, like Conrail.

Today I watched a video about polar bears in the Denver zoo. The mother polar bear didn't know how to take care of her two cubs. So the zoo people gave them some milk and played with them and stuff. Polar bears can swim in water and eat a fish!

The bears were named Klondike and Snow. When they grew up they took them to Sea World in Florida. They could not keep them in Denver. I loved that video!

School stuff

I was having a good day this morning. I went to first hour with Mrs. Gr.

I went to Mrs. Wz who I have math with. Then I got dressed for PE. I have Ms. Ch for weights. After PE, I came back and got dressed for another class, Art. Art is fun, fun, in the bun. In the rain.

Fifth hour I have Mr. O for Social Studies. After that I had lunch at school like I always do. Sometimes they have pizza! My favorite!

After I was done eating I went to do some drawing in the library until my next class, sixth hour. That is Science with Ms. Cr. After Science I have Mrs. Wz again. What we have to do is reading. It is called fluency. I had to bring some home to do and I was not that happy. I hate homework. Homework sucks.

But it is done now, so in a minute I am going to play on my computer, first a learning game and then Train Simulator, that lets you drive the train around. Like mixed freight and all that stuff.

My cat

Yesterday my cat had to get that operation. He had to go to the vet. Yesterday after school we went to go pick him up and take him back home. Susan helped put him on a towel so we could take him home easier. We put him in the crate because he needed to be left alone.

Today he got up on the top of the cupboard! So he is getting a little better.

The snow is still there. Yesterday it was warm a little bit, and some snow started to melt. I just love the snow, and I can't help wishing for more snow!

He's always wild and pesty. He drives his cat-dad insane! Here he is, playing like all cats do, on my bed. You know all cats love being up high!

Roller coaster stuff

My first roller coaster ride was on Twister II at Six Flags Elitches. It was a wooden one. Some are made of steel, but this is an old fashioned wooden one. The coaster leaves the station house and then you do down a little bit and then you go up on the lift hill and when you get at the top it rocks you a little bit. Then you come around a corner and go down really fast! In the middle there's a tunnel, because people love getting scared. I got scared on it! And Susan did get scared on it too!

Last summer we went to Lakeside, home of Cyclone! There is a train that goes around the lake. It's really fun. I rode Cyclone all by myself! On this roller coaster the tunnel comes first. The cars disappear in the tunnel, and I could hear the peeople screaming!

The roads are bumpy here today like a roller coaster ride! I hope summer comes soon, because next year I want to go to Cedar Point in Ohio/Lake Erie. You have to take the boat to go to it, eight miles. At Cedar Point they have Raptor, Blue Streak, XL 200, and coming soon for 2007 there's a new ride. You can go to www.cedarpoint.com

DVDs!

Yesterday I was so wild and happy, because my Conrail Cab Ride DVDs came. It snowed again, a lot, and I had to walk in the snow to the mailbox.

I was watching Conrail Cab Ride from Toledo, Ohio to Elkhart, Indiana. I also have Toledo to Buffalo, NY and Buffalo to Toledo. That guy the conductor on Conrail talks to you about lots of train stuff. And sometimes roller coaster stuff too. I just love cab ride videos because I just love trains. Trains are fun.

My New Favorite Jacket

It's my favorite because I love trains a lot. This jacket says Conrail on the label inside. Conrail is a train company I saw on some of my videos. We got it from eBay. It came from straight north of us, Canada! It is made of leather. I have not gotten to wear it to school because of that stupid Mother Nature didn't make that stupid temperature go up!

Stuff

This is a short movie you can look at. It has a bunny and a snake. The bunny is trying to make the snake buzz off. It's not scary, it makes me want to laugh. It makes me wild!

http://www.reedy.org/forums/rabbitvssnake.wmv

I got a new jacket and you are jealous in the tree! It fits pretty good. I got it from eBay. It came in the mail from Canada. On Friday I was so happy! It says Conrail on the label. It's a leather jacket. Tomorrow I will show you a picture.

Last week Sim City 4 came in the mail. I spent my Christmas money from GG. By the way, it's got a train in it! You can build stuff, houses, roads, bridges, everything! It came with two disks. I got me another game for Microsoft Train Simulator. It lets you add a rail yard and you could drive new extra trains. You can stick your head right out the window! Some trains will let you and some trains won't.

Right now I am watching the Backyardigans DVD from Netflix, Surf's Up, Riding the Range, Tower of Power, and Stonestep Hill. I just love it! It makes me want to watch it over and over again. Until I get bored with it.

Me and Susan were watching Avatar the Last Air-Bender. We are watching season one. He was in the big ice ball and they got him out. They have a war and Fire Army following Avatar. You should watch this! Because it is so funny. Go to Netflix.com and you can pick out all the different kinds of DVDs, whatever you want. You watch it once, you send it back, and they will pick a DVD from your list and sent you another one and another one and another one!

At school

On fourth hour yesterday Jose started to kick me really hard. I had to get mean on him. Jose was being a big mean brat. The teacher was in the hall watching kids until the bell rings. Today Jose had to go talk to the principal instead of be in art class. What I hate is bullies! I'm just picky that way. I just am.
